Our film is called 'Slender'. We came up with this name as we feel it is original and individual. It sounds vicious and scary and creates the effect that our film is going to be a horror film before the viewer has even seen the film or trailer.It sounds like a murder weapon and has its own meaning. Slender means thin, and our horrifying character is a tall white pasty figure. Therefore by taking a sector of his apperance we formed the name 'Slender'.
Our film is a two minute long short film, in which a group of boys go camping in the local woods, they sit in the tent having a laugh, and sudden noises are heard. One boy goes out to check and never returns, however, with the dispearance of the boys friend, so they instantly beileve he is joking and hasn't left, Little did they know Slender had got him.They go out a minute later to discover where he actually is and realise he has disapeared and all the jokes they had been making were actually possiblem, they go looking all over the woods, for their friend. Soonly after a note saying 'YOU ARE NEXT' is found upon a tree, the boys again don't take it serious.They had heard of the 'Slender man' but had thought of him as a joke or a myth, they never imagined the allogations would be true. They heard about where he lies and the boys grouped together and went to where he has been spotted, and Slender man is seen and the friend is long gone.
Our storyline and title makes our film individual and original as our storyline is unique and just by the title it engages the target audience, our target audience is age 15 and above, we chose this age rating as we beileve our film has strong language and scary scenes in which some viewers may find offencive or scary. We chose to make our film for the ages 15 and above as we beileve that our film will apply and be more interesting to people of a similar age. Our film is for two minutes, as it is a short, simple film clip.
