Treatment 1

Slender.

A horrifying story about a boy and his friends who in which decide to go camping in the lonely mysterious woods on a quiet summer night. It was planned to be a fun, happy laugh with the lads, but it turns out remotely different...The group begin to hear strange noises, noises theyve never heard before. The sounds begin to get more distinctive and louder, begins with the beat of a drum and turns into a scream in which gets louder and louder. One of the boys goes outside to see what it could be, and is grabbed and taken. Suddenly the boys hear a voice, 'YOU'RE NEXT' but who is it?... A blurry white figure in the background wearing a suit. Then suddenly the figure disppears. They decide to stick together from then on. They search the area around the tent. One of the friends needs to go to the toilet, so they walk off to a dark area of undergrowth. The character notices another note stuck to the tree. This one says, “Don’t look behind you”. A shallow focus shot from where the note is positioned shows the character looking at the camera, with the white figure from before stood right behind them. As the character turns around the figure comes into focus, and grabs them. Camera goes black with the character screaming. Camera goes to remaining person, who is frantically running back to the tent. They dive inside and grab a mobile phone, dialling 999. The police tell them they’ll be approximately 15 minutes. In around ten minutes, the person inside the tent hears a voice outside. “Hello! This is the police!” The character climbs hastily out of the tent, stands up, and looks around. They cannot see anyone. The camera does a full circle around them until it shows behind. The figure from before is stood behind the character, and it is now clear the figure is slender man. The character turns around and screams, film finishes.

James is a happy boy, who loves spending his time with his friends, He loves listening and telling ghost stories but when his innocent jokes become reality he begins to worry.
He heads to a woods next door to his house, as its near home and reliable.
