(The friends are just leaving the house in the day)

 

Lockey: Reyt Mum I’ll see you in a bit!

(His friends mock him)

Kezza: Awww Mummy’s boy

Lockey: Shut up

Kezza: So what’s the plan?

Joe: Finish these cans off and camp in the woods, simples

(The three friends laugh and cheer in unison)

 

(The three friends are entering the woods at dusk)

Kezza: Here looks decent fellah

(Friends start putting the tent up)

 

(Next shot shows tent fully pitched from the outside – night, then cuts to inside the tent where the three friends are talking, and a weird noise is heard outside)

 

Joe: (worried) what was that?!

(The other two laugh, mocking him)

Lockey: You shit yourself!

Kezza: Oh it was probably that bloke who goes around killing people

Joe: Come off it, I’m going to look

(He leaves the tent)

Lockey: He is such an idiot

(Both laugh, but they hear a scream, and laugh again)

Kezza: We’re not that stupid Joe

(Both leave tent)

Lockey: Right, where’s he hiding?

Kezza: Hold on there’s something here

(There’s a note on a nearby tree)

Kezza: You’re next it says

Lockey: I didn't know Joe's grammar was that good

(A shallow focus shot shows the two friends looking at each other horrified, with a blurry white figure in the background wearing a suit. When the camera shot changes and the two friends look behind them, the figure has gone)

Lockey: Joe?

(The friends walk towards where the blurry figure was)

Kezza: Just going for a piss

Lockey: Have a look for Joe as well

(Kezza walks off and camera follows, he finds another note on a tree, it reads “Don’t look behind you.” He does, and slenderman is there and he grabs him and Kezza screams)

Lockey: Kez! Where are you?

(Lockey sees the slenderman in the distance and frantically runs back to the tent, diving acrobatically into the entrance. Lockey dials 999)

Lockey: Hello? Police please!

(The voice of the person on the other end of the phone is too fuzzy to make out)

Lockey: Hello?

(He drops his phone and hides under the blanket, the camera cuts to ten minutes later)

Voice outside: Hello, this is the police

(Lockey climbs hastily out of the tent and stands up, looking around. The camera does a full 360* around him until it shows behind him. The slenderman is stood behind Lockey. Lockey turns around and looks horrified. Film finishes)
