Genre

We had an option when deciding the films genre of several different types of films including:
Horror
Sci Fi
Love Story
Chick flick
Action
Comedy
Thriller
True story
Crime

We would have chosen to do a film with the genre of crime, if we would have chosen another genre than Horror, we chose to do this because it is the most simple to adapt to. We wanted to make our film beileable and convincing to our target audiences. We thought the genre of comedy would be most difficult as its hard to make a certain audience laugh and be amused, many people have several different levels of humor and may not find it funny, where as some would. We thought the comedy genre would be very difficult to edit and film also without getting distracted.

Our film genre we chose was horror. This is because its a good genre, and it is easy to film and edit. We thought Horror is the most easily convicing of the target audience and we wanted to use a vast variety of different clothes and makeup, As our main character will be wearing a white mask, and a blacksuit with a white shirt and black tie. The other friends will not have makeup on but will be made to wear a certain outfit like they are described in their character profiles.As they need to look like normal young teenage boys, in 2013.They will wear suitable footwear as we are filming in the woods.
