List of Tricky shots

Throughout our film, Slender, We made use of several different shots to make our film realistic and like a real horror film. As we are aware that the more variety of shots, the better the film would be. We sat and discussed what shots we thought would be the most tricky to do, and the shots that would look best, After this we angled the camera in several different angles to see which one we actually thought looked the most effective and realistic. We took our time making sure the shots were correct and angled right.
The shots we used were:
- Pan shot
- Close up
- Extreme close up
- Long shot
- Shallow focus
- Zoom
- Crane shot
- Shot reverse shot.

We thought the trickest shot was the Shot reverse shot, as we had to keep moving the camera and setting it to the exact same angle as it was prior to filming. We wanted to use this shot as we thought it was the most effective when the actors were having a conversation, as when someone was talking we could see the other actors reaction to what they were saying, which we accomplished and thought was a success. Also we thought that the Pan shot and the Crane shot we also hard to achieve as for the Crane we had to reach a certain angle to lower the camera down and it was fairly hard without a steady balance of height to lower down from, However the Pan shot in our opinions was the most successful as it helped us follow the actors when they were walking to and from places and it allowed us the show their movement and actions at all time .
The easiest shots were the simple ones such as: Close up, Zoom, Extreme close up and long shot as they are the basic shots in which are used throughout any filming industry or general camera use.
