How shots could be used in our film.

Close ups- We can use close ups alot in our film, these are regularly used in horrors to show reactions, usually fear or shock, this can be used in our film to do the exact same, when the shock hits the characters and they realise they are not alone, close ups can be used alot and we have incorperated these into our film numerous times.

Deep focus- We have used this shot very well in our film in my opinion, we have used it to reveal the scary character when he is first seen, we believed this would be a good idea as it is a sudden realisation and shows the audience the figure but not the characters contained in the film, they are still oblivious but the audeince knows, so creates anticipation of what will happen throughout the length of the film.

Shallow focus- We have used this immediately before our deep focus shot, we have a focus switch, in the shallow focus shot the audience can see a strange figure behind the character but can see not characteristics or what the actual figure is, we then use a focus switch to reveal the identity and accompanied by a sound, can be known to be the character that the other characters fear.
