Editing

We have to edit various different thing in our film:
-Sound effects-purposes, sound effects are used to highlight moments on screen which cue the audience to laugh.
-Cutting some clips- cutting clips are important because they make the film flow together
-Exposer
-Background noises

We have to cut parts of different clips out as they are errors and things we don't need in them or take something out because it will look better without them in it.
We also have to add some music in the background to make the film more creepy and more film like.
The clips and scenes need to flow good so the film doesn't look stuttered and jolty. If certain clips dont look right after another one, we may have to re-film it or choose another clip that does flow well.
Because we filmed in the dark we need to make certain shots (exposure) to make them brighter so we can see the characters and the scene we need to.
We need to add in sound effects some non-diagetic and some diagetic, for example leaves crunching and wind, this wasn't meant to happen but it made a good effect to the scene as it fitted well with the film as it is horror based. The Diagetic sounds we are adding in to our film are, exaggerating screaming and making sure sounds are not in the scene that we don't want. We may also add some core creepy sounds, like wolves, rips of paper, scratching, but we will have to see what sounds sound better in the film and fit well with what is happening in the scene at that time.
